When personal service cannot be effected after diligent efforts, Tennessee courts may allow alternate service methods — but first require proof of a diligent search. Our Due Diligence Affidavit documents every attempt made and is accepted by General Sessions, Circuit, Chancery and all other Tennessee courts.
